Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to week 10! Thank you for subscribing to self-reflection and personal growth! Grab your favourite writing utensil, paper/notebook/or keyboard and find some space to write whatever comes to mind.

I'm so glad you are here!

How has your journal reflection been so far? How about Your Call to Action from last week? Were you able to hold space for any goodbye's? Looking at new potential? What about any upcoming busy schedules? How are you managing?

Share your thoughts (even anonymously) at: michelle@atplayprofessionaldevelopment.com

Here's your journal prompt for this week!

What challenges are you experiencing in your classrooms, program spaces, or home this week?

Is it behavioural? Meshing with new educators/management leaders? Starting a new program? Room arrangement? Balancing life/work? What could be challenging you in work or home life this week?

Let the thoughts flow onto paper.

Your Call to Action

This week I challenge you to take a 10-30 minute detox from screens, if you can. Where can you walk away from your device to do something different for a few moments? A small time away from a device can help relax your mind and refocus your energy on other things, even if that is rest.

About Me

I am a diploma ECE/IT/SN educator for 25 years, with a diploma as an Education Assistant and a degree in Child and Youth Care, and a minor in counseling. I am a trained Compassion Fatigue Coach, too! I wish to make pro-d for educators by an educator who understands the career journey, the struggles, the successes, the burnout, the love of child development, and so much more.

Best Wishes Educators!

Check out my line up of self-paced workshops (one is FREE) and all come with a certificate for professional development hours: www.atplayprofessionaldevelopment.com/programs
