Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to week 9! Thank you for subscribing to self-reflection and personal growth! Grab your favourite writing utensil, paper/notebook/or keyboard and find some space to write whatever comes to mind.

I'm so glad you are here!

How has your journal reflection been so far? How about Your Call to Action from last week? Were you able to give yourself one thing, even if momentarily, something that you enjoyed? How was that experience for you?

Share your thoughts (even anonymously) at: michelle@atplayprofessionaldevelopment.com

Here's your journal prompt for this week!

Describe a moment this month when a child surprised you. Why was it a surprise? What might that tell you about that moment?

If you feel stuck:

Maybe the surprise could have been something that the child mastered, or said to you, or built/created that you may not have thought possible.

Your Call to Action

This week is the last one of August. Next week might look very busy for programs, saying good bye to children and families, welcoming in new children and families, maybe new staff members. So, this week, how could you hold some space for saying good bye (if you must) and welcoming in the new and the potential for upcoming busying schedules? How might you honour your feelings around this? What comes up for you, and do you allow yourself to feel those feelings? How could you create some time for yourself this week to support your peace and joy?
